A working group is a collaborative assembly of experts from diverse and complementary fields who unite to investigate specific scientific questions or challenges. At the National Synthesis Center for Emergence in the Molecular and Cellular Sciences (NCEMS), these groups are pivotal to the center’s mission, with plans to support 34 working groups over five years.
